Marcia’s Tribute
When I first met Dave, it was an embarrassing moment! (Need I say no more!) I didn't think he thought much of me, as he was very quiet, (or so I thought!). Dave soon got to know me, and welcomed me into the family with opened arms, and he couldn't get rid of me then! Dave, u were like my own dad, us holidaying together, round yours for BBQs and always making sure my glass was full! I remember a specific day when things weren't so good, you came round and reassured me that it would be ok, and your reassurance made me feel better, just by a few simple words from you. I'm so proud and honoured that I had you in my life, not only as a father-in-law, but a fantastic and caring dad to my husband, your son David, and Darren, and a granddad. I will take my memories of you Dave and share them with Jaida, Lennon and Louie. I will miss your wit and your particular funny ways. Love you always, your loving daughter-in-law Marcia
